Laughton Heights Park - Playground Revitalization

As of December 7th Laughton Heights Park Playground Revitalization is COMPLETE!!!


Improvements include: 

  • Play equipment replacement
  • Accessibility improvements - sand surface replacement with engineered wood fibre and paved pathway connections
  • Seating area
  • Outdoor fitness area​

The project was facilitated in part by the Canada 150 Community Infrastructure Program with financial support from the Government of Canada.  The program was developed for communities to strengthen and rehabilitate public infrastructure while celebrating Canada’s 150th Anniversary of Confederation .  Construction completed in the late fall is part of the city-wide playground redevelopment contract.
